On June 1, Katy ISD students and staff will no longer be required to wear face masks or offer virtual school. Superintendent Ken Gregorski announced this in an email on April 16. He stated that this is a move that aligns with the expiration of TEA guidance.
“Students and staff will no longer be required to wear facial coverings, daily COVID-19 notifications will cease, and the Katy Virtual Academy will end. Our campuses are especially excited to welcome back all of our parents and volunteers!” said Ken Gregoryzski in a statement last month.
